You have the opportunity to tell me what you have experienced and how you are feeling. You are able to bring up any questions or issues you may have. At each appointment your progress will be discussed.

Payment: Cash, all debit and credit cards accepted.
Changing your appointment: Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule. Missed appointments may be charged at the full rate.

What should I do before my acupuncture appointment?

There is no complicated preparation required before your appointment. It is generally a good idea to have eaten beforehand, wear comfortable clothing and allow enough time to arrive without feeling rushed.

Are there any side effects after acupuncture?

Acupuncture is generally considered safe when carried out by a suitably qualified practitioner. Some people may experience mild, short-lived effects such as tenderness, slight bruising, minor bleeding where a needle was inserted, drowsiness or feeling light-headed.

I went to try accupuncture with Ruth after I had a severe, unexplainable illness which the gps couldn't explain and I lost my strength and cognitive abilities.
